I do not allow automatic Windows updates but ran the update last week, so I might revert to a backup from when it was working to see if Windows is the issue (though, if that's the outcome, I'm hosed for Windows updates). Cursor movement from Arduino is always relative. Four of the buttons are directional (up, down, left, right) and one is for a left mouse click. This particular example uses five pushbuttons to move the onscreen cursor. I'm mostly trying to figure out why it was working a month ago and not now rather than changing my configurations. Using the Mouse library, you can control a computers onscreen cursor with an Arduino Leonardo, Micro, or Due. That folder is configured to store files locally and sync to the cloud.Ĭonsidered a shared folder, but now that I'm no longer running a domain internally, shares are cumbersome, but mostly it would also make me use my VPN when I'm travelling and I'd lose the versioning/file history I get from OneDrive. If the computers are close enough also consider a shared folder which can be a more robust version of sharing than onedrive. That will allow you to keep local copies and run those but will sync with one drive to keep a copy on there. There are so many Software Serial Libraries, what are the differences between them And which one I can use with my Arduino Nano For my Arduino Nano I need one Hardware Serial Port and one Software Serial port at a baud rate of 115200. You may have better luck using the SYNC mode for onedrive. I want to move my motor in x axis for 100 steps from left to right and at 100th step move my motor in y axis one step up and again move x axis motor from right to left (from 101 to 200) and repeat. Using ONEDRIVE has always been fraught with random issues. Hi, So the project I want to do is control 2 stepper motors to move in x and y axis without using arduino library. Oddly, I recall not having this issue a few months ago but don't recall which build I was running. Is this sitll an issue with the Arduino IDE? I'm running 1.8.13 but have the same issue on 1.8.12. I cannot move my sketches to a local drive (as I have two computers on which I do development) and I cannot set OneDrive to store all cloud files locally (which is what happens when you unmark "Files On-Demand") due to the amount of data stored on my OneDrive, however the setting for the folder and all subfolders where sketches are stored is set to "Always keep on this device", which stores files locally. One post ( arduino not finding my libraries) from 2018, reports that the issue was resolved in an up-coming build, but I seem to still have that issue. I've started building my own library of functions that I regularly use in various projects, and have recently found that the IDE cannot load the header file if it's on OneDrive. I've read a few posts on issues compiling a project with the IDE if you use OneDrive for your sketches and some libraries.
